Tour runs November
through April only
- Day 1 Arrive at Varadero
International Airport and transfer to Santa Clara City. After a welcome
drink retire for the night at Hotel Los Caneyes.
- Day 2 Enjoy
a city tour of Santa Clara - best known as the place where the dictator Batista
surrendered to Che Guevera in 1958. Visit the Mausuleum of Che Guevera and
Tren Blindado Museum. Lunch is in a local restaurant and then we transfer
to Cienfuegos.
- Day 3 Cienfuegos welcomes us this
morning. We'll tour the city that is dubbed the "Southern
Pearl" by its original French settlers. It is perched on the shores
of Jagua Bay. Enjoy lunch at Palacio Valle restaurant. Afternoon is
free and dinner is at Hotel Jagua.
- Day 4 Another hearty
breakfast visit Cienfuegos Botanical Gardens and continue to the city of Trinidad. Trinidad is historically
significant because it is one of the first villages founded by the Spaniards in
the early 16th century. It is a world Unesco heritage sight. The
city retains its colonial charm with cobblestones streets and palatial 18th,
19th century homes. We step into a potter's workshop and have time to
enjoy a delicious and typical cocktail at La Canchanchara. Lunch at Santa
Ana Restaurant is followed by our return to our hotel. Dinner at Hotel las
Cuevas and then we have free time
this evening to stroll the streets.
- Day 5 We
enjoy a full day excursion to one of Cuba's main eco-tourism centers - Topes de
Collantes. After admiring the breathtaking mountain scenery its off to Hacienda Codina by truck. After lunch we return to our hotel
(Topes de Collantes) for dinner.
- Day 6 After
breakfast its back to Santa Clara City, visiting on route the Sugar Cane Mill
Valley and Manaca Iznaga Tower. Lunch is at Santa Elena Restaurant
in Sancti Spiritus. In the afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of the
city and then return for dinner at Hotel Los Caneyes for 2 nights.
- Day 7 Enjoy a full day excursion to
Hanabanilla Lake, a large fresh water mountain reservoir nestled in a
tropical forest. A short boat ride will take you to Rio Negro to enjoy
some local cuisine and traditional music. Return to Santa Clara for
dinner at the hotel.
- Day 8 After
breakfast we transfer to Varadero and check into our all-inclusive resort for
the next 7 nights after which we transfer to the airport for the flight home.

speaking tour guide, A/C transportation, entrance fees and more. Tour requires minimum of 4 passengers to operate.
Transportation by van or motorcoach depending on number of passengers on the
